British Minister for Culture to Convene Meeting on Israeli Football Club Supporters Prohibition
A law enforcement official from the West Midlands has requested an urgent review of the ruling to ban the Israeli team's supporters from attending the upcoming game.
The commissioner, who supervises the force, states that this appeal aims to determine whether the ban is suitable, necessary, warranted, sensible, and a balanced measure to achieve a lawful objective.
"This must include evaluation of every and any possible suitable, alternative options," the official adds.
The commissioner has also requested to examine the official ruling and suggestion from the advisory group, along with the law enforcement evaluation.
The commissioner stresses, though, that the final decision belongs to the committee and the authorities.
